Qualities – Taves is an absolutely handsome guy! He came to us from a shelter in California where he was lingering with a bad right leg for several months. We are thrilled that he is now a Pepper’s resident and we can help him feel better and have a better quality of life. He is working hard with our amazing physical therapist and he is  already walking much better. Our PT quickly discovered that he is a very smart boy who learns everything really quickly. 

Occupation – Taves is training to become a detective. He thrives on scent work in physical therapy and wants to volunteer with our local police force. After he watched Ms. Patty show this skill once, he learned how to look under blankets for treats. We think he could be a strong asset to the police.

Likes/Dislikes – Taves loves food! This is great as he would benefit from gaining a few pounds. He really loves Kong Toys with treats. He is a very playful, happy and friendly boy who is silly and curious. We think that Marmaduke may be his cousin. He is the class clown and he enjoys short walks. He would love to shower you with kisses so please come and meet him. We are so happy that Taves has come to Pepper’s as we love him and can already see Pepper’s Magic working to improve his quality of life significantly!
