Other Ways to Help
THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO HELP OUR PSDS PACK:
FINANCIAL DONATIONS, PLANNED GIVING, SPONSORING A DOG OR VOLUNTEERING—TO NAME A FEW.
We Appreciate Your Support
With the help of compassionate people like you, we’re giving the best days to senior dogs who are enjoying their last days with the pampered care they deserve at Pepper’s Senior Dog Sanctuary. We truly cannot thank you enough for your support!
Our sanctuary seniors rely on the generosity and kindness of our donors. While love and snuggles are free, necessities like medical care, shelter, and food are costly. It takes a village to sustain the sanctuary. We are a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization that depends almost entirely on donations to operate. Our community partners (animal shelters, humane societies, and animal rescue groups) depend on Pepper’s Senior Dog Sanctuary to save the lives of elderly dogs—dogs that are often the last to be adopted and the first to be euthanized.
Alternate Payment Forms
PayPal
When you donate to Pepper’s Senior Dog Sanctuary through PayPal’s Giving Fund, there are no service fees, and receipts are issued directly to donors. Your contribution, whether it’s a one-time donation or a monthly gift, will go directly toward bettering the lives of our senior dogs. PayPal accepts all major credit cards and your donations are tax deductible.

Other Ways to Help and Give

Donor Advised Funds
These funds provide donors with a centralized charitable-giving vehicle. Contribute to a charity’s account and receive an immediate tax deduction. Contact our Executive Director and Gifts Director, Leigh Sullivan, for specific instructions by e-mailing leigh@psds.org or call 303.883.5944.

Corporate Matching Gifts
Does your company have a matching gift program? Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees — the impact of your gift may be doubled or tripled! Some companies even match gifts made by retirees or spouses. After checking with your company, contact our Executive Director and Gifts Director, Leigh Sullivan, for specific instructions at leigh@psds.org or call 303.883.5944.

Will / Bequests / Estate Gifts
Your generosity and love for senior dogs could make a tremendous impact today, tomorrow, and for years to come. Leave a legacy and help build the future of Pepper’s Senior Dog Sanctuary. Contact your financial and legal advisor to select the best giving vehicle for you, and contact our Executive Director and Gifts Director, Leigh Sullivan, for specific instructions at leigh@psds.org or call 303.883.5944.

Partner Organizations
A digital account is needed to participate in Kroger/King Soopers Community Rewards. If you already have a digital account, simply link your Shopper’s Card to your account so that all transactions apply toward PSDS. Once you have your digital account linked to us, any transactions moving forward using the Shopper’s Card number associated with your digital account will be applied to the program, at no added cost to you. King Soopers donates annually to participating organizations based on your percentage of spending as it relates to the total spending associated with all participating King Soopers Community Rewards organizations. Instructions are found here.

Vehicle Donation
To donate your car, truck, boat or motorcycle, you simply need a clear title and the keys—your vehicle doesn’t even have to be in working condition. Our partner, Vehicles for Charity, will pick up or tow your vehicle at no cost to you. Then it will be sold at auction, with a portion of proceeds going to support PSDS. The IRS may allow you to take a charitable-tax deduction on your federal income tax return for the gross sale of your vehicle. If the gross sale of the vehicle is greater than $500, the IRS may require you to fill out Form 8283, “Non-Cash Charitable Contributions.” For more information, consult your tax advisor. Avoid the headache of selling or disposing of your vehicle by transforming it into a life-changing gift for senior dogs. For more information, call Vehicles for Charity at (866)628-2277.

Sponsor A Sanctuary Dog
Your sponsorship covers veterinary exams, medications, spaying and neutering services, grooming, microchipping and routine care. You’ll receive a sponsorship certificate with a photograph of your pal, updates twice a year about your senior’s retirement home activities, and receive invites to special virtual dog-watching-parties. Sponsors make a year-long commitment to a senior dog and make monthly, quarterly, or annual payments. Get more information at contact@psds.org for rescue sponsorships.
