Qualities – Bounce came to Pepper’s with her very bonded older “sister” Buffy. She is a 14 year old Terrier Mix who has gorgeous coloring especially around her eyes. She recently got her first bath and groom at Pepper’s and that added an extra bounce to her step. It’s very special to see the changes when dogs get pampered. Bounce loves to go for walks. She prefers a leash and you would not know she is 14 as she trots next to you. She has great stamina! While some may say she can be the bossy little sister, she wants you to know that she is assertive and not bossy! She is a leader. She is a girl who knows what she wants and will let you know. She is a curious girl who is friendly and talkative. She has a lot of energy and loves to sit in laps and give kisses when she knows someone well. She is also very happy with the home cooked food that she eats here at Pepper’s. She can do some approach / avoid if she would like to meet you but is fearful too. Buffy has been her only doggies playmate her whole life and everything is new for her now. She is settling in very well and we are excited to watch her grow and become even more social.

Occupation – Bounce strives to be President of a Sorority. She wants to use her leadership qualities to help other dogs and to increase her comfort in social situations by giving herself challenges.

Likes/Dislikes – Bounce loves attention on her terms. When she feels comfortable she will seek you out. She can be vocal to get your attention if she feels you are not understanding her assertiveness. She prefers that newer people move a bit more slowly around her and Buffy until she knows that they are both safe with you. She is a little explorer and is excited to get to walk and sniff every square inch of her new home. She is loving life here at Pepper’s and we are so thrilled that we get to love and pamper her while helping her meet her leadership goals.
