Erica Lopez

Erica is an Anchor and Reporter at 9NEWS Denver. She joined the 9NEWS team in August 2020 as the traffic anchor on Mile High Mornings. Before coming to KUSA, Erica worked in Birmingham, Alabama, for two years anchoring, reporting, and covering morning traffic and entertainment news, along with filling in as host of a local lifestyle show. While she’s worked in Charleston, South Carolina, and Baltimore, Maryland, she considers Syracuse, New York, her hometown. Erica has been involved with several community organizations, including Heart of Hearing, the Alabama Head Injury Foundation, and the Young Professionals. An animal lover and community volunteer, she’s thrilled to be an advocate for PSDS.
