Betty White
We've had a few days to welcome this vibrant senior pug who came to us from a rescue in Florida. She's estimated to be 10 years old and about 18lbs. She is obsessed with treats and prefers her food to be served on a plate (when it's not her way, her vocals would have Gordan Ramsey running out of the kitchen). She loves to lay in your lap and take naps in the sun.
Our team is working diligently to help her get to a healthier weight. Being a lean weight makes it easier to breathe and decreases her risk of heat related difficulty breathing, especially since she has brachycephalic airway syndrome.
Occupation: Drama Club Director
She is a love, and although she can not hear or see very well, once she realizes someone has come to visit she is enthusiastic about getting all the snuggles.
